Protect Your Child
From Sexual Abuse
Sexual Assault Prevention is possible through awareness.
The "Protect Your Child From Abuse" workshop provides parents/caregivers with simple and practical tools to prevent, recognize, and react responsibly to child sexual abuse.
Attendees will learn the following:
The facts of child sexual abuse and the “grooming process”.
How to minimize opportunity (Reduce Risk. Protect Child).
The importance of talking openly about our bodies and boundaries.
Understand why their child may not tell them about the abuse.
Recognizing the signs that boundaries have been violated.
What to do if their child has been abused.
The workshop is open to anyone 18 or older and is normally 30 minutes long. After the presentation, I will make myself available for anyone needing to talk or ask personal questions.
